张之洞不仅是晚清洋务大臣,还是清末著名的教育家。在他督鄂的十七年里,其兴学育才思想逐渐形成,他的一系列举措加快了湖北教育的发展。到20世纪初叶,湖北教育已然领先全国。文章从张之洞兴学育才的时代背景和思想基础、中体西用的理论核心和务实变通的实践精神等方面对张之洞督鄂时期兴学育才思想的形成进行分析。
Chang Chih-tung is not only the late Qing minister of foreign affairs, or the late Qing Dynasty famous educator. During his 17 years in charge of OER, his thought of prospering the school and educating people was gradually formed. A series of his measures accelerated the development of Hubei education. By the early twentieth century, Hubei education already took the lead in the country. This article analyzes the formation of Zhang Zhidong’s thought of developing education and educating talents during the period from Zhang Zhidong to the era background of Xing Yu Yucai and his ideological foundation, the theoretical core of using Chinese and Western concepts and the pragmatic flexibility.
