In 1911, the biochemist Kasim Fink found a substance in the animal’s liver, believing that the substance found in beriberi was able to maintain normal life, so he named it “vitamins ”. Anti-beriberi later proved that this substance is thiamine, which is the first of the vitamins found. The last one was discovered in 1948, vitamin B-12. In a day’s life, we eat about 1/8 spoon of this kind of nutrition, which is basically the theoretical intake. But can we live longer or prevent disease by eating too much vitamins and minerals in order to get more energy? It has been arguable in the medical community
