构建社会主义和谐社会,就业工作任重而道远。就其重要意义来讲,就业是民生之本、安国之策,不仅是一个重要的现实问题,也是一个长期的重大战略问题。实现比较充分的就业,全面提高就业质量,乃是构建社会主义和谐社会的题中应有之意和重要的价值取向之一。中共中央十六届五次全会通过的《关于制定国民经济和社会发展 Constructing a harmonious socialist society requires a long way to go in terms of employment. In its important meaning, employment is the foundation of people's livelihood and the policy of safeguarding the nation. It is not only an important practical issue but also a long-term major strategic issue. To achieve more adequate employment and to improve the overall quality of employment is one of the important and necessary meanings in building a socialist harmonious society. The Fifth Plenary Session of the 16th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China adopted the "Decision on Formulating the National Economic and Social Development
