Piaget’s theory of constructivism holds that children gradually build their knowledge about the outside world in the process of interacting with their surroundings so as to develop their cognitive structure. The interaction between children and the environment involves two basic processes: “assimilation” and “conforming”. Children’s cognitive structure is gradually established through the process of assimilation and adaptation, and constantly enriched, enhanced and developed in the cycle of “balancing an unbalanced new balance.” The author believes that constructivism is leather
