电路在商界能不能站住脚取决于最终的工作芯片产量。设计必须考虑到产量以及性能——这是一项艰难的工作,从工艺水平上做好这项工作的最好办法就是使用模拟器,它与过程无关,可信度高而且快速捷便。二维FET模拟器把foundry工艺与电路设计者使用的S参数或等效电路两者联系起来。它们也是设计新生产过程的基础。本文回顾并用可与X波段赝配HEMT的噪声和增益性能相比的实用FET生产过程的设计,说明了FET模拟器对与生产过程相关的GaAs foundry建模的重要作用。
The circuit can not stand firm in the business depends on the final work chip production. Design must take into account production and performance - it’s a tough job, and the best way to do that at the craft level is to use a simulator that’s process-independent, credible and quick. The two-dimensional FET simulator relates the foundry process to the S-parameters or equivalent circuits used by the circuit designer. They are also the basis for designing a new production process. This paper reviews the design of a practical FET fabrication process that compares the noise and gain performance of X-band pseudomorphic HEMTs to illustrate the important role of FET simulators in GaAs foundry modeling associated with manufacturing processes.
