Objective To investigate the measures and effects of intravenous chemotherapy in patients with malignant lymphoma. Methods 160 patients with lymphoma by admission time, divided into control group and observation group, 80 cases in each group. Patients in the control group were given routine care management. Patients in the observation group were given group care safety management. The incidence of falls in the two groups was compared. The incidence of accidental termination of use of the catheter (PICC) and patient satisfaction with the care were compared. Results In the control group, 6 patients (7.50%) fell and 23 patients (28.75%) discontinued due to accidental PICC catheter. The satisfaction rate of nursing service was 63.00%. Five patients (6.25%) discontinued the use of PICC catheters due to accidents, and satisfied with nursing services was 92.07%. The incidence of falls in both groups, the incidence of unintended termination of PICC catheter, and satisfaction with nursing services were statistically significant (P <0.05 or 0.01). Conclusion Effective nursing safety management for patients with malignant lymphoma who underwent intravenous chemotherapy is beneficial to improve the treatment effect, reduce the incidence of nursing errors and improve patient satisfaction with nursing services.
