最近出版的《自然》杂志报道说,最新的艾滋病研究发现,一种在化妆品和食品行业广泛应用的合成物质——甘油一月桂酸酯——可以有效阻止艾滋病的传播。研究人员将该化学物质制成溶剂,其药效已在猴子实验中得到了一定的证实,但它是否能够推而广之运用在人类身上,仍需进一步的实验研究。
A recent issue of Nature reported that the latest AIDS study found that a synthetic substance, glycerol monolaurate, widely used in the cosmetics and food industries, can effectively prevent the spread of AIDS. Researchers made the chemical into a solvent, the efficacy of which has been confirmed in monkey experiments, but whether it can be widely used in humans is still in need of further experimental study.
