由清华大学管理学院、国家经贸委培训司共同主办的《清华企业发展论坛２０００─—世纪之交的机遇和挑战》在清华大学举行。来自政府、企业和学校的有关领导、企业家、专家就国企改革中的发展策略、经营机制．产权激励机制、以及ＷＴＯ对中国影响等经济问题进行专题讨论。针对中国企业发展中面临的现实问题和２１世纪的机遇与挑战，政府、企业界和理论界三方代表共同探讨解决企业实际问题的模式和实现途径，并对各类企业进行评估分析，发布评估结果，提供趋势预测，从而推动中国经济的长远发展。
