视黄酸是维生素A的重要活性代谢产物之一,它与核受体结合后在能量平衡和糖脂代谢方面的调节作用正日渐引起人们的关注。视黄酸改善胰岛素抵抗的机制可能是通过调节某些脂肪因子(视黄醇结合蛋白、抵抗素和瘦素等)的分泌来实现的。通过阐述视黄酸、脂肪因子与胰岛素抵抗之间复杂的联系,有助于发掘新的药物作用靶点,减少甚至阻止肥胖、胰岛素抵抗及非胰岛素依赖型糖尿病等代谢性疾病的发生。
Retinoic acid is one of the important active metabolites of vitamin A, and its regulatory role in energy balance and glycolipid metabolism after being bound to nuclear receptors is attracting more and more attention. The mechanism by which retinoic acid improves insulin resistance may be achieved by regulating the secretion of certain adipokines (retinol binding proteins, resistin and leptin, etc.). By elaborating the complex linkages between retinoic acid, adipokines and insulin resistance, it is helpful to explore new drug targets and to reduce or even prevent the occurrence of metabolic diseases such as obesity, insulin resistance and non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus.
