According to the principle of acoustics, every accurate musical sound has its fixed frequency of vibration. If each of the played sounds corresponds to a particular vibrational frequency, then these sounds are accurate and vice versa. However, the erhu is not a fixed-pitch instrument, and its pitches are all relative due to the difference in the height and manner of the strings. Therefore, the pitch of erhu performance depends on the different pitch, tonality and the relative pitch of the interval relationship. Erhu is a mixture of multi-disciplinary ethnic stringed instruments. Because it has no finger
