零售通道费福利效应问题,仍是一个未解的理论难题。本文以通道费相关商品的零售价格指数和生产商利润率为研究对象,首次实证地评估了通道费的普及对价格水平和生产商利润的影响。本文的研究结论指出:在商品价格方面,排除或分离出通货膨胀和原材料价格上涨对价格水平的影响后,通道费的普及仍提高了相关商品的价格水平;厂商利润方面,在通道费普及后,受其影响的生产商利润率显著下降,而同期不受通道费影响的生产商利润率只有小幅下降。由此可见,通道费降低了生产商利润,提高了价格水平,损害了消费者福利。本文的研究结论对政府部门的相关政策制定和监管工作具有一定借鉴意义。
The problem of welfare benefits in retail corridors is still an unsolved theoretical problem. This paper takes the retail price index of channel-related commodities and the profit rate of producers as the research object, and for the first time empirically evaluates the influence of the channel toll on the price level and the manufacturer’s profit. The conclusion of this paper points out that in the aspect of commodity price, after the influence of inflation and the rise of the price of raw materials on the price level are excluded or separated, the popularity of toll fee still raises the price level of the related commodity. In the aspect of manufacturer profit, The profit margin of the producers affected by it dropped significantly while the profit margin of the producers unaffected by the toll fee decreased only slightly. This shows that channel fees reduce the profits of manufacturers, raising the price level, undermining consumer welfare. The conclusion of this article is of some reference to the formulation and supervision of relevant government departments.
