The purpose of this article is to determine possible representative values for some trace element concentrations in human milk in different parts of the world. Data sources The data in this article has two sources: 1) from an international research project. This project examines the small and microelements in milk from Guatemala, Hungary, Nigeria, the Philippines, Sweden and Zaire, with the analysis section being coordinated by one of the authors of this paper; and 2) literature search from another author.
