Through the microstructure observation, mercury intrusion and mineral composition analysis of consolidation process of typical soft soil samples in the Pearl River Delta, the micro-pore morphology, size distribution, particle orientation and other micro-parameters of soft soil under different consolidation loads are quantitatively studied. The law of change. The study shows that the consolidation pressure will significantly change the pore size distribution of soft soil, particle orientation, so as to change the compressibility and permeability of soil. In the early consolidation stage, the pore size is larger, the particles are arranged in a disorderly manner, the compressibility coefficient and permeability coefficient are larger and decrease rapidly with the increase of consolidation pressure, the pore size is smaller and the particle orientation is obviously increased after consolidation, and the compressibility and permeability coefficient It is also smaller and tends to be gentle.
