花药培养技术在我国已被应用于小麦育种实践,成为加速纯化和稳定新品种的一个重要手段.把辐射技术应用于小麦花培育种,可以提高愈伤组织的诱导率和绿苗分化率,并在单倍体水平上诱发基因突变,经加倍后,即可获得稳定的突变体供选择利用.我们从1980年开始进行辐射在小麦花培育种中的应用研究,采取的主要方式有:(1)对花药辐照后进行离体培养;(2)取辐射种子M_1代花药接种培养;(3)对花培产生的愈伤组织或单倍体绿苗进行辐照处理.都表现出一定的作用.
