我国的人民调解制度是一项很有中国民族文化传统和特色的民主法律制度,是新时期解决人民内部矛盾最好的方式之一。新时期社会的发展向人民调解工作提出了更高的要求,但我国现行的人民调解制度还存在着一些不完善的地方,这使得我国人民调解工作出现了与社会发展不相适应的情况。完善人民调解制度,必须做到为人民调解工作提供资金保障,转变思路,加强人民调解员队伍的建设,制定明确的人民调解工作程序,明确调解协议的效力。
The people’s mediation system in our country is a democratic legal system that is very rich in Chinese national culture and tradition and one of the best ways to solve the contradictions among the people in the new era. The development of the society in the new period has put forward higher requirements for people’s mediation work. However, there are still some imperfections in the current people’s mediation system in our country, which makes our people’s mediation work incompatible with social development. To perfect the system of people’s mediation, we must provide funds for the people’s mediation work, change their thinking, strengthen the building of the ranks of people’s mediators, formulate clear procedures for people’s mediation and clarify the effectiveness of mediation agreements.
