在国际交流日益加强的背景之下,大学英语教学应突破单一的语言语法教学,注重与文化教学相结合,工具性和人文性的统一,提高学生的人文素养。人文素养能帮助学生增强跨文化交际意识,有效地促进跨文化交际能力的培养。针对目前高校大学生跨文化交际能力较低的现状,需从以下方面贯彻文化教学:学生在教材之外应更多地吸收西方国家的文化知识,尤其是时事和日常生活信息;教师作为培养学生跨文化交际能力的引导者,更应努力提高跨文化教学的意识和敏感度。
Under the background of more and more international exchanges, college English teaching should break through the single language grammar teaching, pay attention to the combination with culture teaching, the unity of instrumentalism and humanity, and improve the humanistic accomplishment of students. Humanities accomplishment can help students enhance their awareness of intercultural communication and effectively promote their intercultural communicative competence. In view of the current situation of college students’ low intercultural communicative competence, they need to carry out cultural teaching from the following aspects: Students should absorb more western cultural knowledge, especially current affairs and daily life information, in addition to teaching materials; The guide of cultural communicative competence should make every effort to raise the awareness and sensitivity of intercultural teaching.
