In this study, we measured the levels of arginine vasopressin (AVP) in plasma and some brain regions of rats under normal, 5 minutes and 10 minutes shock, scald, tying, swimming and ether anesthesia under radioimmunoassay (RIA) Content. The results showed that: 1. Scald decreased the content of AVP in the midbrain of the pituitary nerve and increased the content of AVP, which indicated that AVP was released into the blood from the pituitary nerve midbrain. In a short period of time (5 minutes), the effect of ether stress on the AVP content in the midbrain and plasma of the pituitary nerve was opposite to that of the scald, resulting in a decrease in the blood content and an increase in the content of the midbrain pituitary nerve, indicating a decrease in release. Other stress state of blood and pituitary nerve AVP content in the leaves were no significant changes. The above results suggest that the release of AYP in the midbrain of rat pituitary nerve has some specific responses to various stresses. The changes of AVP levels in blood are different under various stress conditions. Therefore, changes in blood AVP levels as an indicator of stress need to be cautious. The levels of AVP in the anterior pituitary significantly increased under various stress conditions, but the scald group did not reach statistical significance. This may in a sense represent the role of AVP in stress by reaching the anterior pituitary in a way that regulates the release of other pro-hormones under stress. In 5 kinds of stress, after 5 minutes of stress, the contents of AVP in hypothalamus all increased to some extent. The mechanism and significance of this change are not clear.
