现代工业,特别是汽车工业,对其所用粉末冶金烧结零部件的强度要求日益提高。若要求材料的强度超过目前常规粉末冶金烧结制件的最高强度1300 MPa,必须进一步提高烧结密度并在烧结后进行热处理。然而在热处理前,烧结压制件硬度太高,会给切削加工和精压带来困难。为满足这些要求,日本川崎钢铁公司研究出最佳超高强度制件用预合金钢粉成分。
Modern industries, especially the automotive industry, are increasingly demanding the strength of the powder metallurgy sintered parts they use. If the strength of the material is required to exceed the maximum strength of 1300 MPa for today’s conventional powder metallurgy sintered parts, the sintering density must be further increased and heat treated after sintering. However, before the heat treatment, the hardness of the sintered compacts is too high, which causes difficulties in cutting and coining. In order to meet these requirements, Kawasaki Steel of Japan developed the pre-alloyed steel powder composition for the best ultrahigh-strength parts.
