我厂有两座100m~3高炉,实际只有一座生产。煤气产量约为2万2千m~3/h,除供应热风炉和锅炉9000m~3/h以外,多余的煤气均排空放散。这样既浪费能源,又污染环境。为节约能源,开辟能源利用新途径,1984年5月我厂由马鞍山钢铁设计院帮助设计建造了采用单一高炉煤气作燃料的斜底式管坯加热炉。并于1985年2月投人生产。半年多来,使用情况良好,由于流量仪表来不及配套,故该炉的能耗指标
