美育是培养人鉴赏美和创造美的能力的教育行为。影响中国两千年的儒家思想,在人的审美教育培养方面有着重要的作用。先秦儒家的审美教育思想中,无论是孔子的“里仁为美”(《论语·里仁》),还是孟子的“充实之谓美”(《孟子·尽心下》),或是荀子的“君子知夫不全不粹之不足以为美”(《荀子·劝学》),都把内在修养的提高和完善作为审美教育追求的最高境界。加强审美教育,有利于树立受教育者正确的审美观,不断提高受教育者的道德修养和审美情趣,从而真正做到内外兼修、知行合一的境界。
