《中国共产党在抗日时期的任务》作为毛泽东思想形成史上的重要文本,最早载于《解放》周刊,学界对此文的版本问题已有零星触及,但对其版本演变、修改内容和生成时间等缺乏详细的考察。在版本上,《中国共产党在抗日时期的任务》大致经历了三个版本的变化;在内容方面,将目前通行的《毛泽东选集》版本(1991年)和《解放》周刊版进行比较发现改动多达34处,除了文章题目的修改外,修改的内容还涉及阶级分析变化、革命动力、革命前途、国家性质等重要问题。
