In this paper, 1941 workers exposed to chromium and its compounds in Nanjing were surveyed by health survey. The electroplating industry accounted for 74.55% of workers, followed by chemical industry, accounting for 9.58%. Chromium compounds on the human body the main performance of the nose, can cause nasal septal erosion, ulcers, perforation. In this group, 204 cases of nasal septal erosion, 15 cases of ulcer and 11 cases of perforation were detected, accounting for 10.51%, 0.77% and 0.57% respectively. The incidence of nasal lesions and the concentration of chromium in the workshop have a clear relationship, that is, more than the national standard factory was significantly higher than the plant does not exceed. The incidence of nasal lesions also increased with increasing length of the trend. Therefore, to improve labor protection equipment, regular health checks, is an important measure to reduce the incidence.
