2006年3月,受霍尼韦尔(Honeywell)公司过程控制部的邀请,本刊记者访问了霍尼韦尔公司过程控制部总部所在地美国亚利桑那州凤凰城,为了更好的向记者展示过程控制系统与楼宇控制系统集成的安全防范实例,记者还受邀访问了霍尼韦尔公司特种材料集团位于美国新奥尔良的盖斯马(Geismar)化工厂。采访中的所见所闻使记者进一步了解了霍尼韦尔公司过程控制部,过程控制产品、技术和解决方案,以及在化工厂中的应用。同时,记者也第一次见识了将工厂过程控制系统与楼宇自动化系统集成,以提高工厂安全和防范系统的实例。
In March 2006, at the invitation of Process Control Department of Honeywell Company, our correspondent visited Phoenix, Arizona, where Honeywell’s process control division is headquartered. In order to better show reporters the process control Systems and building control systems integrated security examples, the reporter was invited to visit Honeywell Specialty Materials Group located in New Orleans, the United States Geismar chemical plant. What I saw during the interview brought the reporter to better understand Honeywell Process Control, process control products, technologies and solutions, as well as applications in chemical plants. At the same time, the reporter also saw for the first time an example of integrating plant process control systems with building automation systems to improve plant safety and preventative systems.
