刘勃舒:彭先生三十年代就取得很高的成就,人物、山水、花鸟都涉及。他在三十年代画的人物画,从历史的角度来看,很有开拓性。八十年代我接触过彭先生,觉得他勤勤恳恳,非常谦虚,做人上、艺术成就上都值得我们好好学习。廖静文:彭先生是原南京中央大学徐悲鸿先生执教时的学生,从作品中可以看出他一生忠实地走徐悲鸿倡导的“中西合璧”的艺术之路。他画的老虎非常生动,非常传神,可以说是画活了,如果没有写生基础是不可能画得那么好。特别是他画的小老虎非常可爱,画得那么好的小老虎我看到的也不多。王琦:彭老先生的画我看过之后印象最深的一点就是感到他对自然对象的观察研究非常深入。他画老虎,这么多姿态,与众不同,坐在画室中靠前人的作品或靠自己的想象都不可能出现这么丰富的动态和千姿百态的画面。这一点对画画的来说很
