同志们: 去年年底召开的省委九届五次全委会、全国统计局长会议和最近省九届人大五次会议通过的政府工作报告,按照中央的精神部署了全省的主要工作和奋斗目标,为做好今年的统计工作指明了方向。这次全省统计工作会议的主要任务是:认真贯彻江泽民总书记“七一”重要讲话、党的十五届六中全会和省委九届五次全委会精神,全面落实省委省政府提出的各项责任目标,总结2001年的统计工作,研究当前的形势,部署2002年的统计任务。下面我代表青海省统计局讲几点意见。一、2001年统计工作的简要回顾 2001年,我省各级统计部门和广大统计工作者以邓小平理论和江泽民同志“三个代表”重要思想为指导,深入实施西部大开发、青海大发展战略,认真落实国家统计局和省政府确定的统计工作任务,以提高统计数据质量为中心,大力加强统计基础建设,稳妥推进方法制度改革,加快统计信息化

Here I speak on behalf of Qinghai Bureau of Statistics a few comments. I. A Brief Review of Statistical Work in 2001 Under the guidance of Deng Xiaoping Theory and Comrade Jiang Zemin and the important thinking of the ’Three Represents,’ the statistical departments and statistical workers at all levels in our province conducted in-depth implementation of the development of the western region and the development of Qinghai in 2001 Strategy, conscientiously implement the tasks of statistical work set by the National Bureau of Statistics and the provincial government, with a view to improving the quality of statistical data, vigorously strengthen the statistical infrastructure, steadily promote the reform of the method and system and accelerate the application of statistical information
