The State Development Planning Commission, the State Council rectification Office, the Ministry of Health, the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine issued a circular recently, decided from May 2001 to August in the country to carry out special inspections of prices of medicines and medical services. This is to implement the State Council on the establishment of urban workers basic medical insurance system and promote the reform of the medical and health system, as well as the State Development Planning Commission on the price of medicines and medical services
