前列腺环素(PGI_2)主要在血管内皮合成,与其它前列腺素不同,PGI_2具有循环性激素特性,最突出的作用是抑制血小板凝集和扩张血管。已有研究表明PGI_2能预防健康血管的血小板凝集,其扩张血管特性则可维持血管张力。在家兔动脉硬化和人粥样瘤性血管研究中均见PGI_2生成减少。对继发于严重周围血管病和实验性冠脉狭窄,PGI_2有防止病变发展为完全闭塞之效。它尚能抑制冠脉狭
PGI_2 is mainly synthesized in the vascular endothelium, and unlike other prostaglandins, PGI_2 has circulating hormone characteristics. The most prominent role of PGI_2 is to inhibit platelet aggregation and dilate blood vessels. Studies have shown that PGI_2 can prevent platelet aggregation in healthy blood vessels, and its dilation of blood vessels can maintain the vascular tone. In rabbit arteriosclerosis and atherosclerotic vascular studies have seen reduced PGI_2 production. For secondary to severe peripheral vascular disease and experimental coronary stenosis, PGI_2 has the effect of preventing lesions from developing to complete occlusion.
