虽然人们口头上经常提到“诗情画意”,如果问一句什么是诗情?什么是画意?如何才会有诗情、有画意?又如何才能诗中有画意、画中有诗情?恐怕就一时难以说得清楚、难以知其然更知其所以然了。 自古迄今,专门谈诗的诗论诗话甚多,专门谈画的画史画论甚多,可谓汗牛充栋浩如烟海,且众说纷纭莫衷一是。相比之下,既谈诗又谈画、谈两者之关系及相互结合之规律者就少得多了。 近年国际文化出版公司出版的画家曾景初著的《中国诗画》一书,以十余万言的篇幅,专就诗与画的结合问题进行了阐述,以我见闻之孤陋,就这个问题系统地探讨的专著,尚属首见。
