地震是最重要的地质作用之一。我国有文字可考的地震记录始于纪元前1831年,至今保留了近四千年举世无双的地震史料,近年来对各种地表变异现象(山崩、滑坡、地裂缝、水系变迁、河湖相沉积物的地震变形)和更新世以来的活动断层也已加强研究,但更老的地质年代中古地震的研究尚是空白。1983年8月笔者有幸在福建永春天湖山发现了一处保存完好堪称奇观的二迭纪强地震的遗迹,其保存的形式是一种独具特征的岩石——震碎角砾岩。

In recent years, various types of surface variations (landslides, landslides, ground fissures, changes in river systems, Seismic deformation of sediments) and active faults since the Pleistocene have also been intensively studied, but the study of the older earthquakes in geologic age is still blank. 1983 年 8 月 I was fortunate enough in Fujian Yongchun Tianhushan found a wonderfully preserved remains of the Permian strong earthquake, the preservation of the form is a unique feature of the rock - crushed breccia.
