治病要治根,不能头痛医头,脚痛医脚。同理,流浪儿童问题也不能仅仅是流浪—救助—遣返的模式,要对这个问题进行有效的治理,除了对他们提供外在帮助外,还要对该群体本身存在的心理问题进行矫治。少年儿童正处在身心发展的重要时期,随着生理、心理的发育和发展,社会阅历的扩展及思维方式的变化,特别是面对社会竞争的压力,他们在学习、生活、人际交往、升学就业和自我意识等方面,会遇到各种各样的心理困惑或问题,尤其面对流浪儿童这个特殊的少年群体,心理矫正更是一切工作的重中之重。因此,在流浪儿童中开展心理健康辅导,是他们身心健康成长的需要,是推进他们再社会化的必然要求。
