“五四”运动以来,关于如何对待民族传统文化问题,有过长久激烈的论争。时至今日,对继承民族传统精神这个大命题, 似已无异议。问题是如何继承和继承什么的问题,而对中国艺术精神的正确理解和坚守则是中国画可持续发展的根本前提。精神的迷失,必将给中国画的艺术创作带来灾难性的后果。作为一名从事中国画创作的画家正确理解与继承传统应从艺术精神和形式技法两个方面切入,才不至于偏离中国艺术发展的主脉与方向。作为民族艺术形式的中国画是中国五千年文明得以延续与发展的重要载体之一,坚守传统艺术精神应将视点放在中国五千年文明史的宏观视野中去整体把握,辩证地审思。如果我们能怀着一颗虔诚之心,展开思想与想象的羽翼去探寻历史的答案,与先哲们进行一番穿越时空的对话,你就会为先哲们那种
Since the May 4th Movement, there has been a fierce debate over how to treat traditional ethnic cultures. Today, it seems no objection to the big proposition of inheriting the traditional national spirit.
