From June 17 to July 2, 1983, I conducted an inspection of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea as a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences team on biological control of pests. The inspection team conducted academic exchanges with North Korea scholars and visited relevant institutes, universities and factories.
