广州的口岸历史悠久,秦汉时就与海外通商,海上丝绸之路亦始发于广州的庙头口岸。改革开放使广州已发展成为举世瞩目的全国开放口岸最多的城市之一。最近,我们在广州市的一些口岸,走马观花,感觉到商品经济的大潮伴随着强烈的口岸开放意识,使广州的对外贸易,经济技术交流及旅游事业,已发展到一个新水平。 Port of Guangzhou has a long history. During the Qin and Han dynasties, it opened up business with overseas countries. The Maritime Silk Road also originated in Miaotou Port in Guangzhou. Since the reform and opening up, Guangzhou has become one of the cities with the most open ports of national interest in the world. Recently, at some ports in Guangzhou, we took a quick look and felt that the tide of the commodity economy accompanied by a strong sense of port opening up has brought Guangzhou’s foreign trade, economic and technological exchanges and tourism to a new level.
