摘要：本文分析了初中英语学习的现状，强调了英语口语的薄弱问题。接着指出了多模态教学对英语口语的影响，包括模拟语境、构建平台、丰富内容等。最后提出了在初中英语口语学习中进行多模态教学的策略，像提升教师的认识和教学能力、学校为口语训练营造恰当空间、采用灵活多样的方式进行口语实践等。以此来提升初中学生英语口语能力，提高其英语水平。 关键词：初中英语；多模态教学；英语口语 1.初中英语学习的主要现状及
