美Sossner丝锥与工具公司新近研制出“KXL”丝锥,用以加工难加工的不锈钢材料。根据加工要求将丝锥设计成易于高速切削的几何形状,保证了切削载荷均布,从而避免了刀具损坏和减少加工时间,提高了生产效率。这种丝锥的几何形状为“X”形,该形能使刀具与工件的接触面最少,从而加工时只需较小的力矩。丝锥经过三次淬火,大大地增加了硬度,有效地防止了由于外力矩产生的折断和在不锈钢加工中常出现的粘刀(刀瘤)现象。
The United States Sossner Taps and Tools recently developed a “KXL” tap, for the difficult processing of stainless steel. According to the processing requirements of the tap into a geometry easy to cut at high speed to ensure uniform cutting load, thus avoiding tool damage and reduce processing time and improve production efficiency. The geometry of this tap is “X” shaped, which minimizes the tool-to-workpiece interface and therefore requires less torque when machining. Taps after three quenching, greatly increased the hardness, effectively prevent the breakage due to external torque and stainless steel often appear in the stick knife (knife tumor) phenomenon.
