乡镇企业发展到今天,广大干部群众越来越深刻地认识到,发展乡镇企业是解决农业现代化中遇到的“钱从哪里来,人往哪里去”这两个最朴素的难题的唯一希望。改革开放以来,我市乡镇企业从无到有,逐步发展壮大,目前已初步形成拥有建材、煤炭、机械、化工、造纸、纺织、食品、工艺等十几个行业、600余种产品的综合产业。1989年,全市乡镇企业总产值已达9.47亿元,占全市工农业总产值的47.3％。乡镇企业成为全市财政收入和支农建农的重要财源,全市乡镇企业年上交税金已占全市总收入的近50％。

In 1989, the total output value of township enterprises in the city reached 947 million yuan, accounting for 47.3% of the city’s total industrial and agricultural output value. Township enterprises have become the city’s financial revenue and an important source of income for supporting agriculture. The township enterprises in the city have already paid taxes in the amount of nearly 50% of the total revenue of the city.
