许多来年,静态仿真对过程设计和优化已被证实其益处和效率。在各种各样的领域,如化工、食品加工、废危险品处理业等等都有许多软件包。选矿业的过程工程师也感到需要这样的工具,现在,这一特定领域已建立了许多仿真器。USIM PAC软件是其中之一,它由BRGM过程仿真研究小组开发。自1988年推向市场以来,经由国际销售网络卖出了上百套,在25个国家应用。它成功地用于选矿流程中的不同阶段,如破碎、磨矿、重选或磁选、浮选等等。USIM PAC自问世以来一直在不断改进。最新版本USIM PAC2.0,使用Windows图形环境增强计算能力,使界面更友好,对过程工程师更直观。1.3版在算法方面有改进,添加了可提高仿真精度和效率的一些内容。建立了一种强有力和可改写的结构以便用于研究应用的新领域。目前对待处理物料的灵活性描述嵌入于软件中,使它有可能得以描述湿法冶金、土质净化或废品处理。所有这些运算能共存于一张完整的流程图中。本文叙述了USIM PAC的基本功能和新版本的主要改进,并列举了一些应用实例。
For many years to come, static simulation has proven its benefits and efficiency for process design and optimization. There are many software packages in various fields such as chemical industry, food processing, waste disposal, etc. Process engineers in the mining industry also felt the need for such tools, and many simulators have now been established in this particular area. One of them, USIM PAC software, was developed by the BRGM Process Simulation Research Group. Since its introduction to the market in 1988, it has sold over 100 sets via international sales networks and has been used in 25 countries. It is successfully used in different stages of the beneficiation process, such as crushing, grinding, re-election or magnetic separation, flotation and so on. The USIM PAC has been continuously improving since it was introduced. The latest version, USIM PAC2.0, uses Windows graphical environments to enhance computing power and make the interface more user-friendly and more intuitive to process engineers. Version 1.3 has been improved in terms of algorithms, adding something to improve simulation accuracy and efficiency. A powerful and rewritable structure has been established for the new field of research applications. The current description of the flexibility of the material being processed is embedded in the software, making it possible to describe hydrometallurgy, soil purification or waste disposal. All of these operations can co-exist in a complete flow chart. This article describes the basic features of the USIM PAC and the major improvements of the new version, and lists some examples of applications.
