阳台山位于北京海淀区的西北部,距市区约40公里,主峰海拔1000多米。翻过阳台山,再向西去,就是著名的自然风景区妙峰山。在妙峰山的娘娘庙里,供奉着“送子娘娘”。相传她是泰山老母的女儿,专门为人送子。从北京城到妙峰山娘娘庙,最近的路是经颐和园向西北至北安河,翻过阳台山再向西去,这就是香客们进香时走的“古香道”。
Balcony Hill is located in the northwest of Beijing’s Haidian District, about 40 km from the urban area, the main peak of more than 1,000 meters above sea level. Turned over the balcony mountain, then west, is the famous natural area Miaofeng Hill. In the Miaofeng Hill goddess temple, dedicated to “send the empress.” According to legend, she is Taishan mother daughter, dedicated to give her son. From Beijing to Miaofengshan Niangniang Temple, the nearest road to the Northwest through the Summer Palace to the North River, turn the balcony mountain and then to the west, this is the pilgrims walk incense into the “antique road.”
