英语作为一种国际通用语言,是“学习文化科学知识,获取世界各方面信息与进行国际交往的重要工具”。二十一世纪是人才竞争的时代,当今社会对英语的要求比历史上任何一个时期都要高。英语作为我国高级中学的一门基础学科和高考的必考科目,其任务是“培养在不同程度上掌握一些外国语的各方面人才”。因此英语教学必须“有助于对学生进行思想情感教育,有助于学生发展智力、开阔视野和提高文化素养”。然而,高中英语教学长期以来存在教学目标单一、教学方法死板,重知识传授、轻能力培养的倾向。
As an international language, English is “an important tool for studying cultural and scientific knowledge, acquiring information and conducting international exchanges in all fields of the world.” The 21st century is an era of talent competition. Today’s society demands more English than any other period in history. English as a high school in our country a basic subject and college entrance examination required exams, its mission is to “develop in varying degrees, to grasp a number of foreign languages in all aspects of talent.” Therefore, English teaching must “help to carry out ideological and emotional education of students, help students develop intelligence, broaden their horizons and improve cultural literacy ”. However, the teaching of high school English has long been a single teaching objective, rigid teaching methods, emphasis on imparting knowledge, ability to train light tendency.
