2011年的连州国际摄影展于11月19日如期举办,像往年一样,它又赢得不错的口碑。尽管各大型艺术展会都在不同程度上得到政府给予的资金或政策的支持,但连州摄影展与由画廊直接参展、以促成交易和盈利为目的的艺术博览会不同,它由连州地方政府主办,与双年展、三年展同属于非盈利性项目,以学术诉求为主要导向,明确了这一点,我们再踏足连州,会发现这个近乎破败的古城有着大城市难以匹敌的别样的魅力。
Lianzhou International Photography Festival 2011 was held on November 19 as scheduled. As in previous years, it won another good reputation. Although all major art fairs are supported to varying degrees by government funds or policies, Lianzhou Photo Show is different from art fairs, which are directly attended by galleries to facilitate transactions and profits. It is hosted by Lianzhou Local Government , And the Biennale and Triennale belong to the non-profit items, with the academic appeal as the main guideline. This is clear. Once we set foot in Lianzhou, we will find that this almost dilapidated ancient city has an unbelievably different charm.
