In 1896, the Ramehl brothers made the movie machine test in Paris for the first time in less than a year, and the movie projector appeared in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Ten years later, there were already 22 cinemas in the Brazilian capital and the “killer” by the first Brazilian feature film, Antonio Lear, was released. Since then the Brazilian movie industry has grown steadily. The movie “Boundaries” of Mario Peixoto, released in Brazil in 1930, was still silent.
