优质低酚棉惠无3055是采用美国的无腺体棉“兰布莱特GL-5”和自育中间材料“惠8205”辐变体杂交,经严格定向选育而成。该品系的主体长度为31.95毫米纤维细度为6017米/克,强力为4.68克,断裂长度为28.1千米,纤维品质达到了适纺细高支纱的标准要求。惠无3055选育的成功,注重了种质资源的改良、中间材料和突变体的利用以及根据性状的相关性和遗传规律,有效地改善性状间某些下良性状的连锁等诸方面。
