随着人民生活水平的提高和商品意识的加强,优质稻米的选育工作越来越被农业科技工作者所重视。稻米品质包括碾米品质、外观品质、食味及营养品质,尤以外观品质更为国际市场所注目。在外观品质中,又以米粒透明度及垩白大小最重要。水稻的外观品质性状,如籽粒大小、垩白等在选育过程中一般稳定较早。但在选育的早代,种子量较少,且存在着性状分离,为了解决这一矛盾,本试验试图采用籼稻种子的不同去壳处理来探讨米粒的最佳发芽力,以期为育种工作者提高育种进程,加速优质稻米的选育和推广提供理论依据。
