大庆石化总厂以企业文化建设为动力,全面实施“人企同心、干群同心、人人同心”的“同心”文化战略,改变企业、提升企业、重塑企业。“同心”文化实施5年来,主营业务收入提高4倍,累计减亏5.1亿元,2004年,实现主营业务收入30.72亿元,同比增加1.75亿元,并荣获全国企业文化建设实践创新奖。随着总厂企业文化从弱势到强势、由零散到规范,并形成独树一帜的体系,企业文化犹如一只看不见的手,神奇地发挥着作用。总厂不但拥有李树林班组、保洁公司这样中国石油的“百面红旗”,而且坚持“用诚信赢得用户,用品牌开拓市场”的经营理念,“做就做精品”的质量理念,和“用心地做好每一件事”的工作理念,培育出了ABS750、GPPS-200D等一批全国用户信得过产品,以及在国内市场异军突起的“大庆牌”复合肥,打造了大庆石化总厂自己的品牌。
