中国的新闻事业在近代产生,经过了一段漫长的发展历程。五四运动期间,中国的新闻事业取得了长足的发展,这种发展体现在新闻学科本身,新闻自由理论,以及新闻业务等方面。本文从新闻本位观念的树立、自由新闻观念的深化、以及新闻业务的现代化几个角度论述了五四新文化运动期间中国新闻事业的发展。提示了新文化运动对于中国新闻事业现代化不可磨灭的贡献。
China’s journalism has emerged in the modern era and has gone through a long period of development. During the May 4th Movement, great progress had been made in China’s journalism. Such development was reflected in the news science itself, the theory of press freedom, and the news business. This article discusses the development of China’s journalism during the May 4th New Culture Movement from the angle of establishing the journalistic standard, deepening the concept of free news and modernizing the news business. It is an indication of the indelible contribution of the New Culture Movement to the modernization of China’s journalism.
