大蒜秧是大蒜去掉大蒜头后的地上秸秆部分，是大蒜种植中的副产品．我国每年大蒜种植面积约1000多万亩，大蒜秧产量达1000多万吨。笔者所处的中牟县是全国闻名的大蒜生产基地县．2011年大蒜种植面积约35万亩，大蒜收获以后．大蒜秧到处堆放，不仅大大浪费了资源，而且严重地污染了环境。该试验研究通过对大蒜秧常规的营养成分进行分析以及肉羊的育肥应用．为其作为饲料资源的开发利用提供依据．
