全国安全生产工作会议于１９９９年１月７日～９日在重庆市召开了。国家经贸委副主任石万鹏作了工作报告。工作报告分三大部分：１１９９８年安全生产工作回顾；２统一思想，提高认识，自觉地把安全生产工作纳入到经济发展和社会全面进步的大局中去；３１９９９年安全生产工作安排。由于报告篇幅较长，本刊摘登报告的开头第１部分全文，供读者对过去的１９９８年全国安全生产形势有个全面的了解；第２部分１９９９年安全生产工作的指导思想和４点要求选登标题；第３部分１９９９年安全生产工作安排９项工作选登２～７项工作标题，突出选登第１、第８和第９三项工作的内容。以飨读者。
National Work Conference on Safety Production was held in Chongqing on January 7 to January 9, 1999. Shi Wanpeng, deputy director of the State Economic and Trade Commission made a work report. The work report is divided into three major parts: a review of work safety in 11998; 2 unification of thinking, raising awareness and consciously putting safety work into the overall picture of economic development and social progress; and work arrangements for work safety in 31999.
