随着高校毕业生就业压力的增大,大学英语教学需要突出应用性和实践性,积极应对市场对人才英语综合素质的要求,为学生的就业奠定良好的基础。鉴于此,新时期的大学英语教学需要突出就业导向功能,重点培养学生的英语交际能力和实践应用能力,加强德育素质和职业精神的渗透,以促进高校人才培养质量的不断提高。
With the increasing employment pressure of college graduates, college English teaching needs to highlight the applicability and practicality, and actively respond to the market demand for the comprehensive quality of talented English, lay a good foundation for the employment of students. In view of this, the college English teaching in the new period needs to highlight the employment-oriented function, with a focus on cultivating students’ communicative competence in English and practical application ability, and strengthening the penetration of moral qualities and professionalism in order to promote the continuous improvement of the quality of personnel training in colleges and universities.
