This article describes the Chorus of Marine Life Observed in Xiamen Port from August 1981 to October 1982. These chorus appear in the spring, summer and autumn during the tide, a duration of several hours, the sound energy is mainly concentrated in the 700-1600 Hz, the main peak at 800,1000 and 1250 Hz. In chorus, the noise level is 46 dB higher than the background noise level in the zero-order sea state. At the station, the evening chorus and the dawn chorus were observed. The statistics for the evening chorus show that this chorus may be quite common in this shallow sea area and its adjacent waters. This article also discusses possible sources of noise for the chorus as described above, which is probably the name of Pisces spp.
