红旗100型推土机,是用于露天矿山、水利、土建等工程的通用机械。我们认为这种推土机具有使用、保养方便、寿命长、超负荷能力大等优点,其突出缺点是需要人工手摇启动,工作强度大,而且不安全。因磁电机点火时间掌握不好将造成汽油机反转,容易打伤工人。据统计,在1968～1980年,我矿工人被打断手臂者7人,一般性工伤者20多人次。此外,由于油箱的位置在主机缸盖和排气管的上方,汽油极易挥发。按启动一次消耗0.8公斤汽油计,一个班至少启动两次,就要挥发掉1.6公斤汽油。
